The concert included several works from the recently released Forever Child CD (above, 2006), including the Missa San Marco, Dover Beach and the title work.
The four London-themed songs later came to form the song-cycle Flower of Cities, together with three other settings of Byron, Dunbar and Wordsworth. Mark Stone recorded these on his The Songs of Ronald Corp disc (below) which contains two other songs from this concert, Tennyson’s Break, break, break and Harry Graham’s The Bath.
